Is a national membership organization dedicated exclusively to advancing the interests of the secular community.


Our Vision:

A world where reason and compassion guide public policy and beliefs are respected provided that they are compatible with the rights of others.


Our Mission:

 To promote the separation of church and state and foster the development of reason, compassion and critical thinking for all Kenyans through secular education and community support.


Our Aims:

(i) Promotion of public scientific literacy and Humanism as a life stance.
(ii) Promotion of inter-cultural dialogue and secularism
(iii) Provision of service, advocacy and empowerment of vulnerable and marginalized communities.
(iv) Promotion of positive youth development.
(v) Promotion and protection of human rights, especially the rights of women and children.
(vi) Promotion of conservation and sustainable management of the environment and its resources’

 The Kenyan Humanist Association schedule regular monthly meetings every second Sunday  of the month that include guest speakers, film viewings, or discussions on topics of interest to the secular community. The venue for the monthly meeting is usually the Kenyan National Museum Meeting Room. Meetings are open to the public.
